You are my sunshine!
I don't have anything to rotate it yet. Notice how in the middle she assures JuJu Bear that the microphone is, in fact, hers. She has also appended her own version of the ending onto it.

Stay tuned for a collage of all of my sleeping shots...I enjoy them so much. Here's one I was working on today.

We did the 9 month shots of this little guy ummm, three months ago. He was wearing a little helmet then. Now, no helmet and one of the smiliest little guys you'll ever see. He was cracking himself up during this session!! He's also going to be a great yogi one day, his child's pose is unrivaled :-)

Camp has started so I've had a little time for some shoots...and in the past three days I've done four of them.
Here are a few from a session with the a very mature almost-four year old who was very interested in my light stands and was very protective of her little sister!

So naturally I will post pictures that are completely unrelated to anything I actually have to do or might help me purchase my new lens that I want.
I took these last night walking home from a meeting. Would be spectacular panoramas if not for the blazing lights that are pointed at the volleyball courts on Rash Field. Ah well.

Another fun baby...I've totally lucked out. This shoot took all of 15 minutes and we got some beautiful shots. Here are a few because I'm kind of behind right now but I wanted mom and dad to see these.

This time we went to the Wye River. Our friends were nice (& brave) enough to invite us all down to their house on the river. We swam, I think we ate, we did not sleep nearly enough, and basically hung out together. In all, there were seven children under five (two fives, a four, a three, a two, a 20-month, and a 13 month) and eight adults who should know better. Anyway, again, a ton of pictures. I haven't had time to do them all and even these could use some editing but you'll get the idea.
It's nice sometimes to have an early riser, otherwise I never would have gotten that sunrise shot or the boats (which I'm totally having printed, thank you very much).
I won't lie, the baby birds aren't cute and the shot is grainy because it was late and my ISO was bumped way up to get them, but it's pretty amazing that they live in the Dock Box.
Anyway, enjoy. And as always, to see them not in a slideshow, click here. For anyone who wants to know, these are processed only using Apple's Aperture. If I print something, I'll edit it with Photoshop sometimes, but for the most part, this does the trick.

So, we did so much yesterday that I couldn't post all of the pictures. Here is a fancy little slide show for you to watch instead. Please note the world's ugliest pig, and be grateful that I didn't post a picture of the bears. Who were doing things that bears do...in public...around little kids. It was quintessential lore of trips that mom and I take together.
If you want to see the pictures not in a slideshow, you can see them here.

We haven't seen any poison ivy on ourselves yet, for that we are grateful. We did swim in the worlds largest mud puddle, which they call a lake here.
We made S'Mores...below is a picture of the AWESOME fire that I made by rubbing two sticks together and wishing really hard. (Ok, I actually had matches, but still that fire rocked since there was nothing but matches and wood used...and some paper...but that's it.) Note to dad: if you give them enough sugar right before bed, they run around like chickens with their heads cut off and then just pass out. It's a fine line, really.
And...the kid stays in the picture. I'm brave enough to tell you that I had to clone out a huge piece of marshmallow that was dripping down my chin. Thanks mom.

Two weeks ago, it was the beach. This week it's the woods. We only have two this time, we didn't think we could handle the two and one year old here. We miss them, but having Eddie fall in the creek beats having the little ones...
Tune in tomorrow and see if we are all covered in poison ivy. Pray that we aren't.

You ask for a smile...
You get one...
The cat you've been stalking hides under a car...
You dizzy in a tutu...
You are almost five and have a lot of things on your mind...

I'm not kidding even a little bit when I tell you this little guy showed up at my house in 1000 degree heat, sound asleep and happy as a clam. He made it up two flights of stairs, I took about 10 minutes of photos with him exactly like this first shot and his mom had to wake him up. After she woke him up, he was the happiest, smiliest little guy ever.
What a fun, happy, little baby. These are for his dad until I get time to do the rest!

On a whim, we decided to come to the beach. Ocean City. Not exactly paradise, but the kids don't care if they are near the ocean and a pool.
I predict a very wet, very tired, very funny week. Mila fell asleep on the sofa so that's how she went to bed. Three of them are in one room. Dinner was pasta, grape tomatoes, and hot dogs. You might have made that face too.
