New Pictures...New Site...New Stuff

Still practicing and trying to take a few shots every day. Dude. That's pretty hard when you have a bunch of little kids running around. I mean, it's easy to take the pictures, but it's hard to learn what you are doing wrong because you can't figure out from shot to shot what changed and why one sucked and the other was great. Anyway, I'm going to go listen to some kindie rock because, as I told you before, it's way cool and now everyone else thinks so too.

Switching from Flickr

I'm thinking of switching to SmugMug from Flickr. Aside from the mildly annoying, slightly condescending sounding name, it is a very good site. It's got tons of great features and will let me set prices for my clients, assuming I ever get any.

Mila wears a feather boa

I forgot to post it, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MILA! Mila is two and her two year old switch moved to the on position on Tuesday. We have yet to get it back to where it was.

I had a toy this weekend

I had the Canon 5D this weekend. It's awesome. I totally don't know how to use it and all it can do, but wow does it take some awesome shots. I've posted some of them on the Flickr site. Anna plays with play-dough Originally uploaded by itsaduck

Pics to tide you over

We've had a hell of a two weeks here. We've had the flu (three of us), we have antibiotics (two of us), a double ear infection, more office-overnights than a father of four has a right to have and less sleep than the average ER resident. Did I mention that Anna cut her eyelashes? With safety scissors. By her eyes. Without a mirror. Talent. I did use an afternoon with no nanny as an opportunity to take some pics though.

About It's A Duck

Really just the mindless chatterings and photographs of a mom with four kids four years apart. Mostly photographs. Often mindless.
